Watercolour sketch of San Giuseppe dei Teatini, Palermo

This is the San Giuseppe dei Teatini, a Catholic church in the centre of Palermo, Sicily near the Quattro Canti area.

It is considered one of the most outstanding examples of Sicilian Baroque in Palermo. The dome has blue and yellow majolica tiles and was designed by Giuseppe Mariani.

Palermo is truly awesome, and truly chaotic. Every corner of the city is full of historic architecture and vibrant local life.
